Liz Lougheed Green (Manager of Community Investment/Impact Business Development, Vancity)
Liz has many years of experience as a community developer, social policy advocate and social enterprise practitioner. She manages Vancity’s Impact Business Development program, including handling her own portfolios of social enterprise, social ventures and not for profits. She works directly with organizations across the impact business spectrum to deliver financial, resource and human supports. Her work helps organizations reach their full potential.
Prior to joining Vancity, Liz was the manager of strategic programs for Vancity Community Foundation (VCF), and earlier in her role as executive director, Liz led the Potluck Café Society from start-up through to sustainability.
Liz holds a Master’s Degree in Social Policy and has worked with groups like First Call: The BC Child and Youth Advocacy Coalition and BC Campaign 2000, on community development initiatives.
In addition to her role at Vancity, Liz maintains a role on the board of the Hastings East Community Programs Society and is an advisory committee member of the Canadian Centre for Women’s Economic Development.
